BJP to Launch 'Tiranga Yatra' in MP on August 11, Hoist Tricolour in Every House

Bhopal: In the first mass contact programme in Madhya Pradesh after the April-May Lok Sabha elections, BJP is set to launch a three-day 'Tiranga Yatra' campaign in the state on August 11.

The party plans to reach out to eminent citizens including freedom fighters, sports personalities and intellectuals during the period, state BJP president Vishnu Dutt Sharma said here on Tuesday.

The party activists have been asked to reach out these people and invite them to take part in the 'Tiranga Yatra', he said.

BJP Rajya Sabha member Kavita Patidar has been appointed coordinator for the campaign.

According to Mr Sharma, BJP plans to hoist tricolour atop all the 1.50 crore houses in the state on the occasion.

The party has constituted district-level coordination committees to make the programme a success.

The party is scheduled to hold district and mandal-level meetings for the purpose.

The national flags will be sent to all 64,523 booths in the state to hoist them atop every house.

The programme will ensure that BJP reaches out to every family in the sate during the period.
