Congress leaders behind demolition of genuinely-owned houses: KTR

Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Monday charged the state government with resorting to harassment of his party cadre and warned that they will pay back in the same coin if this did not stop forthwith. He took exception to the demolition of houses being built in Peerzadiguda on land that was regularised by the Congress government in 2008.

In a release, he alleged that the demolition was being at the behest of former MLA M. Sudheer Reddy. “The plots were sold by Congress leaders Ramdas Goud, Jagadeeshwar Reddy and their corporator Amar Singh. NOCs were issued by revenue officials and people started constructing houses after availing loans from banks. But their houses were razed down owing to pressure from the former MLA,” Rao alleged.

The BRS government had issued GO 118 to solve the problems of plot owners in Sai Priya and Satyanarayana puram colonies in Peerzadiguda municipal corporation limits. But the Congress party which claims to run a people's government is razing down their houses, he added.
