3 held for murder in Miyapur

Hyderabad:In a joint operation, the Miyapur police, along with the Madhapur SOT, arrested three persons for the murder of a 39-year-old man near Hafeezpet railway station, said Miyapur ACP Jayaram.

The accused were Gande Sumith, 23, Sunil Maddanikar, 25, Premsagar Noudgi, 24. They allegedly murdered Keshav Bangar, 39, a native of Maharashtra.

Police said two of the accused persuaded Bangar to mortgage his cellphone and raise money for liquor. They promised to get the phone released later by making payments. When they did not do so, Bangar began to question them about his phone. The accused then beat him to death, police said.
