Hyderabad: A 47-year-old businessman, R. Jagadish, said to be struggling to repay his debts, died by suicide at his home in Hasmathpet early on Friday, Bowenpally police said. Jagadish is survived by his wife and two daughters.
Jagadish asked his wife Lavanya to prepare tea and then went to the bathroom. When he did not return, Lavanya broke open the break door and found his body, said Bowenpally detective inspector V. Sardar Naik.
Jagadish's brother R. Saibaba, in a statement to the police, said Jagadish used to own his house and an autorickshaw. He had to sell both due to financial distress. Police are conducting further investigations into the death.( Source : Deccan Chronicle )
