AP CID Raids Ex-APSBCL MD's Home Over Previous Gov's Excise Policy
Vijayawada: The AP Crime Investigation Department (CID) raided the Hyderabad residence of AP State Beverages Corporation Limited (APSBCL) former managing director D. Vasudeva Reddy on Friday.
Sources said that the sleuths were checking checking various documents related to the excise policy implemented under the previous YSRC government during the raid at the house located at Nanakramguda.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) had transferred Vasudeva Reddy as APSBCL MD, following complaints from the presidents of AP BJP and TD, D. Purandeswari and K. Atchannaidu, alleging misconduct in distribution of liquor to the YSRC during the elections.
