Assets worth Rs 30L gutted in fire at hotel in Madhapur
Hyderabad:A fire broke out at a hotel in Madhapur after a short circuit on the ground floor of the building. No casualties were reported.
According to Madhapur SFO Md Abdul Afzal, the hotel where the fire broke out was identified as Krishna's Kitchen, opposite Madhapur police station. The fire erupted as a result of a short circuit in the stabiliser of the air conditioner.
After the workers of the kitchen noticed the fire, they immediately informed the fire department who rushed to the spot and doused the flames within 10 minutes. An estimated loss of `25-30 lakh worth of properties was incurred.
