Hyderabad: Dancer Satish has filed a complaint against popular choreographer Jani Master at the Raidurgam police station. Satish alleged that Jani has been harassing him by preventing him from getting work in film shoots. However, no FIR has been registered as both arrived at a settlement and compromised, the police said.
Earlier in his complaint, Satish mentioned that the choreographer has been making calls to Union members, instructing them not to invite Satish for any shoots. This situation has left Satish without work for the past four months causing financial hardships.
Satish also mentioned in the complaint that Jani has been threatening other choreographers and coordinators not to offer work to him. The conflict reportedly escalated after Satish spoke about these issues during a general body meeting of the Telugu Film and TV Dancers and Dance Directors Association. Jani is currently the president of the association.
“He is using his position and clout to harass me in the industry,” Satish said.
