Mohd Faqruddin allegedly stabbed Mohd Nazeer after a drunken quarrel in Gopinagar; victim succumbed to injuries in hospital.
Hyderabad: A 35-year-old man was murdered allegedly by his close friend after a drunken quarrel near Gopi Cheruvu in Gopinagar on Friday night, Chandanagar inspector Dogga Palavelli said. Mohd Faqruddin reportedly stabbed car driver Mohd Nazeer and fled the scene. Nazeer was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Private Firm Employee Dies by Suicide
Hyderabad: A private company employee, Mallikarjun, 26, died allegedly by suicide near Pragatinagar road, KPHB police said on Saturday. SI Lingam said police investigations showed that Mallikarjun, a Kurnool native, was facing personal problems.
Student Ends Life After Teacher's Scolding
Hyderabad: A 15-year-old student died by suicide at the Sagar Grammar School at New Bharatnagar, after his physical education teacher scolded him in front of the class, Uppal police said on Saturday.
Shortly afterwards, the victim’s parents and family members shouted slogans at the school premises and demanded justice. Police reached the spot and pacified the victim’s family members. Police also registered a case and started investigations.
Police said the student sought permission to attend to the washroom and stepped out. He then died by suicide.
On noticing him fallen on the ground, the school management called an ambulance. He succumbed to severe head injuries even before reaching the hospital. The body was then moved to Gandhi Hospital for postmortem.
