Kurnool deaths: Police seek answers in triple tragedy
Kurnool: A cloud of mystery hangs over the deaths of three women whose bodies were found near Kurnool on Sunday.
Police are tight-lipped about details, but confirmed one victim, Janaki, hailed from Abhangapatnam village in Mahbubnagar district. The identity of another woman, Aruna, from Wanaparthy is known, but villagers are reluctant to provide further information.
The third woman remains unidentified.
Investigators are piecing together the events leading up to the tragedy. CCTV footage from the RTC bus station and railway station is being reviewed to track the women's movements. It's believed they visited the area with others and possibly consumed alcohol. The cause of death for all three women is unclear. Whether they drowned accidentally or foul play was involved remains under investigation.
The discovery of one body at a distance from the others raises concerns. Officials are urging anyone with information to come forward. While some details are being withheld as the investigation progresses, authorities have released the identified bodies to their families.
