Hyderabad: The Raidurgam police booked 50 persons on Saturday night for racing tw-wheeelers at T-Hub, ITC Kohineur, Knowledge Park, Sattva Bhavan and My Home Bhuja under the Cyberabad commissionerate.
The operation targeted youngsters participating in bike racing after midnight.
“We have seized 50 bikes. The riders were from various parts of the city, including Charminar, Narsingi, Mehdipatnam, Jubilee hills, Banjara Hills, They were all aged above 21 years,” a police official said.
A case have been registered under IPC Sections 336, 341, and Motor Vehicle Act Section 184. All seized bikes were handed over to the the Road Transport Authority, said Raidurgam inspector Ch Venkanna.( Source : Deccan Chronicle )
