Tirupati:The Red Sanders Anti-Smuggling Task Force (RSASTF) police have seized five red sander logs near Pincha Dam in the Rajampet section of Annamayya district and arrested one individual.
Acting on the directive of Tirupati district SP L. Subba Rayudu, the operation was carried out under the supervision of RSASTF SP P. Srinivas and DSP G. Balireddy. Teams conducted a combing operation in the Rajampet area near Pincha Dam. During their patrol near Cheyyeru, close to Arogyapuram, the team noticed suspicious individuals.
Upon attempting to apprehend them, the suspects tried to flee, but one was successfully caught. The arrested individual was identified as a resident of Annamayya district. Following the investigation, the team recovered five red sander logs hidden nearby. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
