Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) here on Wednesday caught S. Srinivasulu, a tahsildar and joint sub-registrar of Gopalpet Mandal in Wanaparthy district, red-handed when he allegedly demanded and accepted bribe of `8,000 from a complainant for doing an official favour.
Srinivasulu demanded a bribe from the complainant Mudavath Pandu of Zinkalabeedu thanda in Wanaparthy district for conversion of agricultural land of the complainant's wife into non-agricultural land (NALA).
ACB officials recovered the tainted bribe amount from the possession Srinivasulu.
