Hyderabad:Gopalapuram police on Tuesday arrested two notorious offenders who have been indulging in thefts and a receiver for colluding with the accused in purchasing stolen booty. The arrested persons were Mohammed Masthan, a resident of Ranigunj, Mohammed Yakub, a resident of Secunderabad and the receiver Syed Masthan, a resident of Musheerabad.
The police said the accused Mohammed Mastan has committed several offences in the limits of Osmania University and Market police stations. He was also wanted in drug peddling cases. Police arrested the accused for stealing mobile phones and luggage bags from passengers. On a tip-off, the police detained the accused and interrogated them. During the interrogation, the accused confessed to having committed offences and the police seized mobile phones and cash from the accused.
