Hyderabad:Two cases of robbery at knifepoint were reported in the KPHB police station area this week. On Monday, Muraharishetty Ankam, 31, of Andhra Pradesh, said that at about 11.30 pm he was surrounded by four persons who relieved him of his two-wheeler, cellphone and half-a-tola gold chain.
On Wednesday at Road no. 4 in KPHB, one Shanakumala Venkata Suresh, 28, a mason from AP, was robbed of his cellphone by four persons who approached him on motorcycles.
KPHB detective inspector K. Ravi Kumar said, “We are verifying who the accused are. Their vehicle number was not clearly visible in the CCTV footage,” and advised residents and motorists to be alert.
