Hyderabad:Five members of a family, including a two-year-old infant, was trapped inside an autorickshaw when a brick compound wall of an under-construction building fell on the vehicle in Karmanghat during the rain on Thursday evening. Two persons suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital, according to the Saroornagar police who registered a case.
The family was heading to a function. An onlooker who saw the incident called others to help and rescued the passengers. They also called an ambulance and shifted the injured to the hospital.
The family members demanded action against the owner of the under-construction building for not taking any safety measures nor installing signboards.
