Hyderabad:YouTuber charged with tossing currency bundles on ORR as part of money hunting challenge has been apprehended by Gatkesar police on Wednesday.
According to Malkajgiri ACP S. Chakrapani, the accused, Bhanu Chander, and goes with an Instagram account @Chandu_rockzz_003. A complaint was received by the Incharge of Highway Patrol team. He stated that a YouTuber was seen filming a video where he tossed a couple of 200 denomination currency bundles into the bushes. This was near Exit no.9 and a case was registered under BNS sections public nuisance, endangering personal safety or life of others and crime of cheating and fraudulently inducing someone to deliver property including Highway Act.
Bhanu Chander resorted to film the video and throw away money under money hunting challenge to gain more followers for his YouTube and Instagram accounts.
He was arrested by the Gatkesar police and sent to judicial remand.
