PM Modi to Inaugurate Utkarsh Odisha-Make in Odisha Conclave 2025

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Odisha on January 28 to inaugurate the highly anticipated Utkarsh Odisha-Make in Odisha Conclave 2025, aimed at showcasing the state's potential as a global investment hub.

This marks PM Modi’s second visit to Odisha this month, following his address at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Sammelan on January 9.

The Prime Minister will arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport at 10:35 am and proceed to Janata Maidan, where he will inaugurate the two-day conclave at 11:00 am. He is expected to spend approximately 90 minutes at the event before departing for Dehradun.

The conclave, scheduled for January 28 and 29, will feature plenary sessions, sector-focused discussions, and networking opportunities with global industry leaders, policymakers, and investors. It is anticipated to drive significant economic growth and bolster Odisha’s reputation as a business-friendly destination.

A notable development ahead of the conclave was the visit by Singapore’s President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, who announced Singapore as a partner for the Make in Odisha initiative. The Odisha government also signed key MoUs with Singaporean firms to boost foreign investment and economic development.

The event is expected to solidify Odisha’s position as a rising player on the global economic stage and foster new partnerships for sustainable growth in the region.
