Hare Krishna Golden Temple Concludes Brahmotsavam Celebrations
Hyderabad: The six-day Brahmostavam, which began on November 24 at the Hare Krishna Golden Temple here, concluded on Friday with a series of ceremonies.
The day began with Maha Purnahuti, Utsavar Abhishekam, and Chakra Snanam for the various Utsavar deities followed by a Pushpa Yagam. In the evening, 108 Kalasha Maha Churnabhishekam was performed for the diets of the Gods Radha Govinda and Gods Lakshmi Narasimha, Nitai Gauranga, and Srila Prabhupada accompanied by devotional Bhajans and Kirtans.
Gods Radha Govinda were bathed with Panchamrita, Panchagavya, fruit juices, herbal powders, flowers, and special Aushadhis. The holy water from the seven sacred rivers of India was also used in the Abhishekam. After the ceremony, the holy water was sprinkled on the devotees as part of Maha Samprokshana. Madhu Pandit Dasa Prabhu, chairman of Ikcon Bengaluru and Akshaya Patra, speaking on the occasion, encouraged everyone to chant the Hare Krishna Maha Mantra daily.
Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Prabhu, president of Hare Krishna Movement Hyderabad, said, “The successful completion of the Brahmotsavam along with the most awaited Moola Vigraha Prathista of Sri Sri Radha Govinda deities would certainly please their Lordships and bring peace and prosperity to everyone.”
