Hyderabad District Collector Urges Speedy Completion of Medical Projects
Hyderabad DC Anudeep Durishetty urges swift construction of hospitals, health centres, and upgrades in Sitaphalmandi and other areas
Hyderabad: Hyderabad district collector Anudeep Durishetty on Saturday directed officials of the Telangana Medical Services Infrastructure Development Corporation to speed up construction of the 100-bed hospital building, out-patient unit, new block and 30-bed urban health centre in Sitaphalmandi.
He was speaking at a meeting of engineers, district coordinator of hospital services (DCHS) and district medical and health officer (DHMO).
The collector also directed officials to take up other major works at the earliest including the 100-bed hospital at Kamatipura; renovation of the Government Nizamia Tibbi College and Nizamia General Hospital and construction of new blocks, sanitation and toilet blocks at Gandhi Hospital, Secunderabad.

Also on the agenda of the meeting were the 50-bed community health centre at SRT Colony, Yakutpura; 50-bed facility at Bandlaguda; 100-bed facility at Dabirpura and upgradation of the Barkas community health centre.
Collector Durishetty also asked for speedier work at the 30-bed urban healthcare centre at Lalapet and Addagutta; the Centre for Excellence building at Irrum Manzil, 200-bed hospital at MCH Colony, 100-bed critical care block at Government ENT Hospital at Koti and the integrated building at Fever Hospital, Nallakunta .
Durishetty wanted officials to start the tender process. The meeting was attended by corporation superintendent engineer Surender Reddy, executive engineers Chalapathy Rao and A. Naidu, DMHO Dr Venkat and DCHS Dr Sunitha.
