According to the IMD, light and scattered rainfall is expected to continue in Hyderabad until June 17. IMD-Hyderabad scientists said that the city saw less rainfall due to the forward movement of the monsoon currents.

In other districts, isolated and scattered rains were reported at Suryapet, Khammam, Rangareddy, Sangareddy, Medak, Jangaon, Warangal, and Hanamkonda. In Mahbubabad's Thodellagudem, hailstorms were reported.

The IMD forecast subdued phase in rainfall activity till June 17, predicting a reduction in overall precipitation across the state. Meteorologists attribute these weather patterns to a “monsoon break spell,” typical for this time of year.
