Vijayawada: Countering Telugu Desam charges over construction of YSRC party offices in various districts of the state, YSRC leader T.J.R. Sudhakar Babu clarified that their party had applied for permissions from the government as per the Government Order (GO) issued by previous Chandrababu regime.
“We obtained all necessary permissions from the government before taking up construction of district party offices in AP,” he stated.
Sudhakar Babu released to media on Sunday photos of TD offices constructed across AP, along with copies of the GO allotting government lands to TDP during the TD regime from 2014–2019.
Stating that the YSRC did not violate any rules in the construction of party offices, Sudhakar Babu asked, “If the party offices being constructed by the YSRC resemble palaces, did TD build thatched houses as their party offices across AP,” he asked.
The YSRC leader said lands allotted for TD party offices are worth over ₹2,000 crore. The land value of TDP central office in Mangalagiri is worth ₹75 crore, he stated.
