Naidu gives credit to Modi for huge TD-JS-BJP win in AP

Vijayawada: Telugu Desam chief N. Chandrababu Naidu sounded confident that Indians will become global leaders in the near future under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Addressing the NDA parliamentary party meeting held in New Delhi on Friday, Naidu backed the name of leader of the NDA, Narendra Modi, to be the Prime Minister of India and attributed credit to Modi’s plan of Viksit Bharat.

Naidu said, “We stand at a crucial juncture in the history of our nation. The NDA government under the visionary leadership of Modi has taken significant initiatives in the last 10 years and with this, our country has witnessed remarkable progress and transformation. Modi’s focussed and dedicated approach has transformed our nation into a global powerhouse.”

“I have seen several leaders but I give entire credit to Modi for developing India in such a big way. India has been developed as the fifth largest economy in the world and under Modi’s leadership we are going to become the largest economy in the world,” he said.

Naidu underlined the importance of governance by balancing the regional aspirations and national interests to ensure a holistic development of the society as a whole.

He said, “Modi has a vision and zeal and his execution is very perfect and he is executing all his policies with true spirit. India has a right leader at the right time in Modi. He is a very good opportunity for India and if we miss it, we will miss it forever.”

Naidu noted that India has an advantage of IT and democratic dividend in youngsters.

He said, “I proudly propose the name of Modi on behalf of TD for the post of PM of India. Through his Vision of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ we can become a zero-poverty nation.”

Claiming that the TD was having good relations with the NDA from the beginning, he said TD founder president N.T. Rama Rao used to work for the people and used to say that he was not knowing about the ‘isms’ except ‘humanism’. “Such a vision of Modi is helping India now.”

He said Modi addressed three public meetings and attended a rally in AP and this made a huge difference. It helped the TD-JS-BJP alliance win in the elections.”

Naidu also referred to the poll campaign taken up by the BJP top brass including Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari and BJP national president J.P. Nadda and said that their presence helped instill confidence among the people that the Centre was with them.

The TD chief thanked JS chief Pawan Kalyan and AP BJP chief Daggubati Purandeswari for contributing their share for the three-party alliance winning a huge majority in the AP polls.
