Pawan and Lokesh in top 10 ‘majorities’; Jagan in 20th place and Naidu at 36th slot

Vijayawada: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan and Telugu Desam leader Nara Lokesh were in the top-10 slots vis-a-vis the large majorities candidates won in the present elections. Outgoing chief minister and YSRC president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy finds a place among the top 20 majorities.

According to EC data, Palla Srinivas Rao of the TD claimed the highest majority of 95,235 votes in Gajuwaka Assembly constituency followed by Ganta Srinivasa Rao with a 92,401 votes majority in Bheemili. Nara Lokesh stood third with 91,413 votes majority in Mangalagiri.

In Pendurthi Assembly constituency, Panchakarla Ramesh Babu of the Jana Sena won a majority of 81,870 votes, former minister Ponguru Narayana secured a 72,489 votes majority in Nellore city, Arimilli Radha Krishna got a 72,121 majority in Tanuku, Pantam Venkateswara Rao (Pantam Nanaji) of JS has a 72,040 vortes majority in Kakinada rural, Adireddy Srinivas got a 71,404 votes majority in Rajahmundry city, Velagapudi Ramakrishnababu got a 70,877 votes majority in Visakhapatnam East and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan claimed a 70,279 votes majority in Pithapuram. State-wise, he stood in the tenth place vis-a-vis a majority.

In Vijayawada central, Bonda Umamaheswara Rao of TD has a majority of 68,886 votes, Nimmala Ramanaidu a 67,945-majority in Palakollu, Ramanjaneyulu Pulaparthi (Anjibabu) of JS has a 66,974-majority in Bhimavaram, Konathala Ramakrishna of JS received a 65,764 votes majority in Anakpalli, Vamsi Krishna Srinivas of the JS got a 64,594 votes majority in Visakhapatnam South, Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary registered a 64,090-majority in Rajahmundry rural, Bolisetty Srinivas of JS received a 62,492 votes majority in Tadepalligudem, Radha Krishnayya Badeti got a 62,388-majority in Eluru, Aranii Srinivasulu of JS got a 61,956-majority and Jagan Mohan Reddy got a 61,687 votes majority in Pulivendula. Jagan Mohan Reddy stood at the 20th place among top majorities.

Former MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju won the Assembly polls on a TD ticket with a 56,777 votes majority and stood in the 23rd place.

Venigandla Ramu of TD defeated Kodali Nani with a 53,040 votes majority in Gudivada and stood in the 27th place. First-time winner Galla Madhavi of TD got a 51,150 votes majority in Guntur West and stood at the 20th place. Former minister Kollu Ravindra of TD received a 50,242 vote majority in Machilipatnam and landed at the 31th place. Jana Sena PAC member Nadendla Manohar JS got a 48,112 majority in Tenali and stood at the 35th place.

TD president Chandrababu Naidu got a 48,006 votes majority and ended up at the 36th place in terms of high majorities.

BJP leader V.K.R. Penmetsa received a 47,534 votes majority in Visakhapatnam North and at the 37th place; and former Union minister Yalamanchili Satyanarayana Chowdary (Sujana Chowdary) of BJP secured a 47,032 majority in Vijayawada West. He stood at the 38th slot.

AP TD president K. Atchannaidu got a 34,435 majority in Tekkali and the 70th place.

Nandamuri Balakrishna registered a 32,597 majority in Hindupur and the 80th slot. Former minister Kanna Lakshminarayana of TD got a 27,836 votes majority in Sattenapalle, standing at 92-nd place and M.S. Raju of TD got the least majority of 351 votes in Madakasira (SC) assembly constituency.
