Rushikonda buildings will fulfil public needs: Kalisetti Appalanaidu

Visakhapatnam: Vizianagaram MP Kalisetti Appalanaidu announced that the alliance government will repurpose the Rushikonda buildings to meet the people's needs.

Addressing a press conference at the TD office in Visakhapatnam, he emphasised that the Chandrababu Naidu government is committed to protecting public property.
“Alliance government is not a government to dismantle buildings built with public tax money. Our government will protect public property,” he stated.
The TD MP said Telugu Desam Party won overwhelmingly in Visakhapatnam as in the run-up to the 2024 general elections, Chandrababu had declared that Vizag will be made the financial capital of Andhra Pradesh.
He defended the Chief Minister on allegations that injustice has been done for north Andhra in allotting ministerial posts. “This time, our CM has given a chance to newly elected MLAs who are young and innovative,” he maintained.
In a firm tone, Appalanaidu criticised YSRC leaders for spreading false propaganda. He reassured the public that the alliance government is resolutely focused on development and will not be swayed by propaganda.
He said state government will investigate irregularities related to assigned lands in north Andhra. Further, it will focus on irrigation projects in the region. In this context, he maintained that they owe significant responsibility to people who have given the alliance an overwhelming victory in the recent elections.
