Telangana to Develop Vikarabad as Eco-Tourism Hub: CM Revanth
Telangana to boost eco-tourism with Vikarabad hub; CM launches Experium Eco Park near Chilkur Balaji

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said that the state government would promote eco-tourism by formulating a tourism policy as part of which Vikarabad would be developed as an eco-tourism hub. He said the government would boost temple and health tourism.
Revanth Reddy was speaking after inaugurating the Experium Eco-Friendly Park, a first-of-its-kind eco-recreational centre, at Proddutur near the Chilkur Balaji temple in Rangareddy district on city outskirts on Tuesday, in the presence of tourism minister Jupally Krishna Rao and actor Chiranjeevi.
Revanth Reddy noted that people from Telangana were going to other states to see temples and forests. He said the development of temple and eco-tourism will not only bring recognition to the state but will generate revenues.
He said Telangana had the famous Ramappa and Thousand Pillar temples. The state also has assets like Nallamalla forests and Mallela Teertham. The CM said that the state government plans to develop Telangana as a natural forest tourism centre.
He called for taking ‘forest man’ Vanajeevi Ramaiah as an inspiration. The Chief Minister said a policy would be framed for students to plant a tree in the name of their mothers and to protect these plants. The CM congratulated Ramadugu Ramdev, founder and chairman of Experium, for creating the beautiful facility.
“While we continue to expand in technology and healthcare, we must also focus on developing temple, health, and eco-tourism,” Revanth said.
Minister Jupally Krishna Rao said that Experium Eco Park will be a well-known place, not just in India, but worldwide. He added, "Hyderabad is already famous for its historical sites, buildings, and gardens, and now the park is part of that. Built to international standards, the park will offer a unique experience that you won't find easily in other countries. It will be a special eco-tourism spot in Hyderabad."
Chiranjeevi praised Ramdev's artistic vision, stating, "When I visited this eco-park with the Chief Minister, I was tempted to take all the plants home. This is the work of an artist, not just a businessman.”
