Hyderabad: The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGSPSC) declared the results for the Group 1 Prelims on Sunday. Candidates who took the examination on June 9 can access the merit list on the website https://tspsc.gov.in/
The TGPSC also released the cut-off marks for the exam. The cut-off marks, which vary across different categories. For candidates in the open category, the cut-off was anticipated to range between 62 and 67 per cent of the total score.
Qualified candidates will proceed to the mains examination, scheduled to commence on October 21. The mains will consist of seven papers and will be descriptive in nature. The TSPSC retains the flexibility to conduct the examination either through digital mode of question paper display or the conventional hard copy-based question paper.
The commission said that the prelims were conducted offline and the evaluation of answer sheets was completed within four weeks. Of the hall tickets generated for 4,03,645 candidates, 3,02,172 appeared for the examination.
The preliminary examination was conducted across 897 centres in 31 districts, from 10.30 am to 1 pm.
