Warner Flags Air India Flight Delay

Hyderabad: Australian cricketer David Warner criticised Air India for a prolonged flight delay, claiming that passengers were boarded on to the aircraft allegedly despite the absence of pilots. Warner, who was travelling from Bengaluru to Hyderabad, took to social media to express his concern over the long wait.

Warner on his X handle, tagging Air India, wrote: “We’ve boarded a plane with no pilots and waiting on the plane for hours. Why would you board passengers knowing that you have no pilots for the flight?”

His post quickly gained attention and the airlines in response explained that the delay was caused by bad weather in Bengaluru.

The airline responded stating: “Dear Mr. Warner, today’s challenging weather in Bengaluru caused diversions and delays across all airlines. The crew operating your flight was held up on an earlier assignment affected by these disruptions, which led to a delay in departure. We appreciate your patience and thank you for choosing to fly with us.”
