Women Leaders Promote Peace at Ahmadiyya Community Symposium
Hyderabad: A Peace Symposium was organised by the Women's Auxiliary Organization of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community on June 1, at Hotel Royalton.
The event was about "The Role of Women in Shaping Society and Securing Peace" and used the motto "Love for All, Hatred for None." Women leaders from different religions, intellectuals, representatives from women's NGOs, and various other people attended to discuss how women can help create a peaceful society.
The event was led by Maryam Azeem, along with the Honorable Amtul Wasi Shumaila as the Chief Guest. Several speakers talked about the importance of women's roles in society.
The community's women's group, Lajna Imaillah, focused on educating and empowering women. While the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community talked about promoting global peace and harmony among different religions. Their current leader, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, works to spread peace and help people in need through different charitable activities highlighting about how important women are in creating a peaceful and harmonious society and women felt happy after being together from different backgrounds to discuss peace and cooperation.
