Q I have a skin issue, especially between my fingers. There are itchy rashes that contain pus. Also, there is an acidic smell while urinating. Please advise. I do not know my blood group.
You seem to be harboring a skin infection known as scabies. This is a contagious itchy skin condition caused by wingless insects called mites or Sarcoptes scabiei. Your blood group has nothing to do with this infection. The intense itching and rash characteristic of scabies infection is caused by an allergic reaction of the body to the burrowing of the microscopic scabies mites. The rash can be found over much of the body; the associated itching is often most prevalent at night.
This skin infection can be treated with topical applications or with oral medication. For this you need to consult a dermatologist in person. More important is that you disinfect your clothes, bed and bed linen, furniture upholstery, common house hold towels, napkins etc so that other family members are not infected.
Q My 24-year-old wife had a miscarriage 16 months ago. She is pregnant again now (five months). At the end of the second month, she had a low-lying placenta, which is normal now. Please advise if it is safe to have sex with my wife.
I caution you against having sex with your wife. She has a history of previous miscarriage and the placenta is positioned near the cervical opening. In both these conditions sexual intercourse is fraught with risks. You may check with your obstetrician.
