Prabhas will be working on the script to be written by actor-director Rishab Shetty.
After working with Telugu directors like Rajamouli, Sujeeth and Nag Ashwin, reigning star Prabhas will be working on the script to be written by actor-director Rishab Shetty. Prabhas has signed a three-film deal with Hombale Films, the production house behind pan-India blockbusters like ‘KGF ‘and ‘Kantara.’ “They wanted a star-studded script for one of Prabhas's movies and they urged actor and director Rishab Shetty to provide an engaging script. He has assured to provide one script but he will not direct it,” says a source.
Rishab has a good rapport with Hombale Films and shares mutual respect. “Together, the actor and producer tasted massive success with ‘Kantara’ and now embarked on its ‘sequel’ and it is made with more than 100 crores to reach out to the worldwide audience,” he points out. Meanwhile, they discussed a special script for Prabhas and Rishabh has reportedly bounced a few story ideas. “Prabhas excited to play a character designed and etched by Rishab which would be larger-than-life and kind of never-before stuff,’ he adds.
Prabhas has essayed varied roles from a warrior in Baahubali to a supercop in ‘Sahoo’ and bounty hunter in the futuristic film ‘Kalki 2898’ and would be looking forward to another challenging role.
Right now, Prabhas is doing a big action film ‘Fauji’ and also has a horror comedy ‘The Raja Saab’ and is also set to work with director Prashanth Neel in ‘Salaar 2’. “He giving himself a makeover every time to do justice to innovative characters,” he concludes.
