2nd batch of Haj pilgrims leaves for Jeddah

VIJAYAWADA: State Minority Welfare Department secretary and Haj Operations chairman K. Harshavardhan flagged off on Tuesday the second batch of 322 pilgrims who left the Eidga Jama Masjid Haj Camp for the Gannavaram Airport.

Their flight to Jeddah took off at 4:55 p.m. on Tuesday.

Haj committee officials said the third group with 48 people will take off for Haj from Gannavaram Airport at 7:10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29.
