KURNOOL: Nandyal Second Class Magistrate R. Ramabhupal Reddy has sentenced three persons to undergo seven days’ imprisonment each for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Those caught drunk by Nandyal traffic inspector Ismail and his staff during a check near the Jagan Orthopaedic Hospital in Nandyal are Manjula Anjaneyulu of Nandyal mandal, Nagalapurapu Samuel from Nandyal town, and Madam Ramakrishna of Velugodu.
Traffic police registered a case against the three and filed a charge sheet in court. Following a hearing, the magistrate issued an order imposing seven days of imprisonment on each of the accused.
