3,303-ft Long Tiranga Flag Rally in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: A 3,303-ft-long Tiranga rally in Vijayawada West constituency on Wednesday turned a big attraction for people on Wednesday. Vijayawada MP Kesineni Shivnath and City West MLA Sujana Chowdary led the rally and asked the masses to hoist the National Flag following the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi of Har Ghar Tiranga.

The Dundee Ganesh Seva Samiti organized the massive Har Ghar Tiranga rally from Labour Colony Ground that proceeded to Panja Center via Sitara Centre, Chittanagar, KBN College. MP Sivanath said.

“As a Member of Parliament, I am very happy to participate in the Independence Day celebrations with all of you. This rally, which was held to strengthen the unity of the country in the western constituency is beyond caste and religion taking inspiration from the heroes who laid down their lives in the freedom movement and to inspire the present generation.”

MP Sivanath said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called for the Har Ghar Thiranga programme. He asked the public to hoist National Flag on every house at the call of Prime Minister Modi. He said the sense of nationalism among today's youth has increased. He stated that the main purpose of the Har Ghar Tiranga programme was not only to develop patriotism but also to tell the history of freedom struggle to this generation.

MP Sivanath along with former MLC Buddha Venkanna, former MLA Jalil Khan, TD state commerce department president Dundi Rakesh, BJP NTR district president Adduri Sriram, TD state leaders Nagul Meera and MS Baig with thousands of students from various educational institutes and colleges carried the 3,303 feet huge Tiranga flag, chanting Vande Mataram.
