Allu Arjun's visit overshadows Naidu’s Nandyal roadshow
KURNOOL: Tollywood actor Allu Arjun's visit to Nandyal on Saturday overshadowed the roadshow of Telugu Desam chief N Chandrababu Naidu in the town, with the latter witnessing thin attendance.
The former chief minister’s anger became apparent when he accused the ruling YSRC leaders of resorting to cheap politics.
Allu Arjun visited local YSRC legislator S. Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy, who is a close friend of the actor, wishing him a successive win in Nandyal. On coming to know about the star’s visit, a large crowd of locals gathered with resounding chants of Pushpa, Pushpa, a blockbuster movie.
Allu Arjun had to climb onto the terrace of the YSRC legislator’s residence and wave at the crowds.
Addressing media, Arjun said during the 2019 elections, he could not meet his close friend Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy due to prior commitments. “Today, I have come personally to wish him success in his political journey,” the star stated.
Incidentally, Allu Arjun also extended his best wishes to Pawan Kalyan who is campaigning on behalf of his party Jana Sena and its allies TD and BJP.
Arjun said, "My heartfelt wishes to Pawan Kalyan on your election journey. I have always been immensely proud of your commitment to public service. As a family member, my love and support will always be with you. Best wishes for achieving all your aspirations."
However, speculations have started that there is a rift in the family, as Arjun has thrown his support behind the ruling YSR Congress, while his uncle Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is aligned with the NDA.
