Anantapur: Jagan’s Convoy Hit by Vehicle
Anantapur: A fire engine in the convoy of former chief minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy got hit by an Innova vehicle at Ramarajupalli village in Kadapa district on Saturday.
Jagan Mohan Reddy is on a three-day visit of Pulivendula. He reached Kadapa Airport in a special aircraft from Gannavaram on Saturday afternoon. From there, he proceeded to Pulivendula by road.
When his convoy reached Ramarajupalli, a big number of people, who had been waiting for the YSRC chief, tried to stop the vehicle. As a result, Jagan Mohan Reddy’s car stopped suddenly. Following this, a fire engine at the end of the convoy too stopped suddenly.
A speeding Innova car that was following the convoy crashed into the fire engine, resulting in minor damage to the car.
This is the first visit of Jagan Mohan Reddy after his party’s massive defeat in the elections.
