Andhra Pradesh: Culvert Collapsed at Rajanagaram
Kakinada: An old culvert (4.0 metres span) on Gandepalli-Nandarada route in Rajanagaram mandal of East Godavari district has collapsed due to heavy rains.
District roads and buildings officer S.B.V. Reddy said an alternative arrangement has been made for the convenience of people for their travel. He said transport was disturbed between Nandarada and Kalavacharla after the culvert was collapsed.
The vehicle-users going towards Kalavacharla from Nandarada should now pass through Narendrapuram or NH-16 junction near Turpu Gonagudem village of Rajanagaram mandal. The passengers who are going towards Nandarada from Seetharamapuram and Kalavacharla should go through Narendrapuram.
