10 Teams Search for Kidnappers of Fish Trader

Kakinada:Ten teams are currently searching for the individuals who kidnapped fish trader Sujay Kalasi from Odisha on Wednesday near Central Jail in Rajamahendravaram. According to the One Town Police of Rajamahendravaram, Sujay Kalasi, who is involved in the fish trade, would buy fish from aqua farmers and fish growers in areas such as Tuni, Annavaram, Konaseema, Uppalagupatam, and Annavaram. However, Kalasi allegedly failed to pay dues amounting to `7 crores to the farmers. When the farmers lodged complaints against him, he would obtain bail and be released from jail.

On Wednesday, Sujay was released on bail after being remanded in a case filed by aqua farmers in Tuni. Upon his release, he was kidnapped, allegedly by Konaseema aqua farmers, who are victims of his actions. Mandan Singh lodged a complaint with the One Town Police. In response, East Godavari Superintendent of Police D. Narasimha Kishore formed 10 teams, each consisting of four officials, to locate the kidnappers. The One Town Police have registered a case.

Meanwhile, it is believed that, unable to endure Sanjay's deceit, some farmers from the Konaseema area may have taken matters into their own hands and kidnapped him. The search teams have reportedly identified the kidnappers and are attempting to apprehend them.
