16 from North Andhra Get Outstanding Teachers' Tag
Visakhapatnam: The government has recognised sixteen educators from north Andhra as outstanding teachers. Celebrated educators from Anakapalle, Shaik Nagoor S. (Mathematics) and K. Gangadhara Rao, are on the list.
Shaik Nagoor is serving at the Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS) in Guntupalli and Gangadhara Rao works at the Mandal Parishad Primary School (MPPS), Bapadupalem.
The teachers will be feted at an awards ceremony, hosted by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, in Amaravati on Monday.
From Parvathipuram Manyam, the honoured teachers are D. Lakshmana Rao, principal at Andhra Pradesh Tribal Welfare Residential School-Boys (APTWRS) in Komarada, Gongada Rama Rao (physical science) at ZPHS, A. Venkampeta (social studies) from MPPPS, and Potnuru Eswara Rao, secondary grade teacher (SGT) at MPPS.
In Srikakulam, G. Srinivasa Rao, SGT at the MPPS in Govindapuram, and B. Srinivasa Rao, principal at Andhra Pradesh Model Schools (APMS) in A.O. Peta. From Visakhapatnam, P. Rajarao (chemistry) and Pakki Nageswara Rao (physical science) have been recognised for their contributions at a ZPHS, while S. Rajendra Prasad serves as SGT at MPPS, Muddadapeta.
In Vizianagaram, the recognised educators include K.O.V.S.S.N.R. Subramanyam (physical science) and Tamminana Rajesh (chemistry) from a ZPHS, along with Chittimoju Usha Rani, a SGT at S.V.G.E. School.
From Alluri Sitharamaraju district, K. Kalyani, a post graduate teacher at KGBV, Paderu, and Kangala Krishnaveni, physical education teacher at KGBV, Yetapaka, are on the list.
