₹2.27 Crore Allocated for Feasibility Study of Six Greenfield Airports

Vijayawada:Minister for roads, buildings, investments and Infrastructure B.C. Janardhan Reddy announced that Rs 2.27 crore will be allocated for a feasibility study to develop six greenfield airports in the state.

The proposed airports will be located in Kuppam, Srikakulam, Nagarjunasagar, Tuni-Annavaram, Tadepalligudem, and Ongole.

The minister stated that following directions from Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to enhance air connectivity and cargo services for the benefit of passengers, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has been tasked with determining the feasibility of these projects.
