VIJAYAWADA: As many as five YSRC corporators from Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) joined Jana Sena in the presence of party chief Pawan Kalyan at the party central office in Mangalagiri on Tuesday.
They include P Purna Sri of ward 59, Peddisetti Usha Sri of ward 43, Kantipamu Kameswari of ward 47, Bhattu Surya Kumari of ward 77, and Alla Leelavathi of ward 42. Pawan Kalyan welcomed them into the party with party shawls.
Pawan Kalyan expressed his happiness over the maiden political joining into the party, especially from Visakhapatnam post the party’s big victory in the General Assembly elections. He asked the newly joined corporators to work closely with the party cadres and register a grand victory on behalf of the NDA alliance in the ensuing GVMC elections.
