Adarana-3 to be launched with Rs 1,000 crore
The BC welfare department principal secretary, S. Satyanarayana, on Saturday said that the state government would launch Adarana-3 scheme at a cost of Rs 1,000 crore, providing implements to 26 caste-based backward class (BC) artisans.

Kakinada:The BC welfare department principal secretary, S. Satyanarayana, on Saturday said that the state government would launch Adarana-3 scheme at a cost of Rs 1,000 crore, providing implements to 26 caste-based backward class (BC) artisans.
He along with BC Corporation vice chairman and managing director A. Mallikarjuna and Kakinada district collector S. Shan Mohan told the media that the department organised a meeting with 26 caste-based people to make them aware of advanced machines and equipment. They suggested that the government should distribute equipment among professional artisans with individual subsidy and heavy equipment to groups. He said that a report would be submitted based on their opinions to the government soon.
A. Mallikarjuna said Adarana-3 will be implemented with 90 per cent subsidy while 10 per cent will be borne by the beneficiaries.
Shan Mohan said a job fair would be organised on March 24, providing employment to 350 people. He said beneficiaries should get information by dialling 779376111 and 7799376444.
