After TDP’s victory, CS and DGP meet Naidu at Undavalli in AP
Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary KS Jawahar Reddy and Director-General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta on Wednesday morning met the TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and congratulated him for the TDP’s massive victory in the elections in the State.
They met Naidu at his residence in Undavalli near Amravati. Naidu is going to New Delhi to attend a crucial meeting convened by the NDA in the evening ahead of forming the government for the third consecutive time at the Centre.
NDA constituent Janasena party's chief Pawan Kalyan will also be attending the NDA meeting at the national capital, a day after the alliance emerged victorious in Assembly and Lok Sabha polls in Andhra Pradesh.
Meanwhile, the AP police department will make elaborate arrangements for the swearing in ceremony of Naidu in Amravati once the TDP confirms the date. More clarity on the date of the ceremony would emerge after Naidu is returned from New Delhi after attending the NDA meeting to be chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
