Visakhapatnam: The passing out parade for the fourth batch of Agniveers will take place at INS Chilka in Odisha on August 9. Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff, will review the parade at INS Chilka. The ceremony, scheduled to occur post-sunset, will see 1,390 Agniveers—including 216 women—completing their training. Additionally, 330 Coast Guard Naviks will also be passing out. Vice Admiral V. This significant occasion will be attended by the families of the Agniveers, as well as notable veterans and sports personalities. The parade marks the successful conclusion of 16 weeks of basic naval training and the beginning of the Agniveers' journey as part of a capable and forward-ready Indian Navy.
During the event, Admiral Tripathi will inaugurate new infrastructure and facilities, attend the valedictory function and present awards to various divisions.
