All nominated posts in government to be filled by June, says CM

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has emphasised the need for all Telugu Desam leaders to actively participate in party activities and be readily accessible to party workers and the public.

He urged them to fulfil the hopes and aspirations of the people and party workers. Several programmes will be made available, he said, urging leaders to counter the “misinformation spread by the YSR Congress” against the alliance government. Stating that systems have already been set in motion, he promised more initiatives in the coming days.

The Chief Minister held a teleconference with MPs, MLAs, ministers, party incharges and leaders on Tuesday, on the Telugu Desam-led state government programmes as also on the TD party activities and performances.

Naidu announced that by June, all nominated positions within the government will be filled with a review of the performance of those appointed to positions over the last two years to guide future decisions. He said, “Members who perform well will be given incentives in their positions. Ministers are encouraged to collaborate with MLAs in districts to discuss party issues and resolve any challenges. Legislators are urged to expedite pending bills and ensure their passage.”

He said, “Participation in party programmes should be a priority for MLAs, ministers, and MPs, and they must maintain constant communication with party workers and the general public. Every leader should strive to ensure that the performance leading up to the 2029 elections is exemplary. It is essential to communicate the various government schemes and programmes effectively to the public to ensure widespread awareness. The integrity of the government’s efforts must be closely monitored and improved continually.”

Naidu affirmed that the party would fulfill all the promises made during elections, and advised TD leaders to counter any false narratives from the YSR Congress.

He assured the leaders that nominations for designated posts will be awarded to those who have worked hard and contributed significantly.

Naidu asked the MLAs to send in proposals for the appointment of the Agricultural Market Committee and Temple Committees to ensure a fair selection process. “The candidates seeking positions in these committees must also be members of the Cluster, Unit, Booth, Sections in divisions of the party. All individuals seeking positions within the party structure are required to be members of the appropriate CUBS. There are 214 Market Committees and 1100 Trust Boards, and these appointments will be finalised in due course.”

The Chief Minister stressed that those who have been long-standing members of the party should be prioritized for opportunities over those who recently joined from other parties. He reiterated that it is the responsibility of MLAs to ensure that loyal party members are rewarded with positions.
