Kakinada: Tourism, culture, and cinematography minister Kandula Durgesh announced that the state government is set to develop all villages systematically, aiming for "Swarnandhra Pradesh" to lead the nation in comprehensive development by 2047. He made this statement during the "Idi Manchi Prabhutvam" and "Polam Pilusthondi" programs in Kakaraparru village, East Godavari District.

Durgesh praised the NDA government under Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for completing 100 days of effective governance focused on development and welfare. In a bid to protect the "Laddu Prasadam" shrine in Tirumala, he mentioned that Samprokshanam programs are underway at various temples, with Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan initiating the Prayaschitta deeksha. Additionally, he revealed that Rs. 12 crores has been allocated for the development of the Nidadavole constituency.

Durgesh emphasised the government's commitment to making agriculture more profitable and improving farmers' livelihoods. Plans include integrating advanced technologies like drones into farming practices, while efforts are being made to reduce agricultural investment costs and boost production.
