Vijayawada: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday sounded confident that the TD-JS-BJP alliance would win 17 of the total 25 Lok Sabha seats and also form the next government in Andhra Pradesh.
In an interview to a media agency, the Union home minister predicted BJP’s win in Odisha and Arunachal Pradesh and expressed confidence that the NDA would win 400 Lok Sabha seats out of a total of 543 in the present polls.
In AP, out of the 25 Lok Sabha seats, TD contested 17 while the BJP six and JS two in alliance. The state assembly has 175 seats. Of these, the Telugu Desam contested 144 followed by JS 21 and BJP 10 seats.
