Anantapur: Three people were killed after a lorry collided with the car they were traveling in on Wednesday near Bondalaginne village of Tadipatri mandal in the district. The deceased have been identified as Prathap Reddy (25), Venkata Laxmi (45), and Prameela (22), all natives of Beduruguttapalli.
They were returning in a car after attending a relative's reception in Vempalli when the accident occurred near Bondalaginne.
Prathap Reddy and Prameela died on the spot, while Venkata Laxmi, who sustained grievous injuries, succumbed while undergoing treatment. The police have registered a case based on a complaint from their relatives and have begun an investigation.
