Tirupati: In a significant operation on Sunday, police seized 26 country-made bombs from a house near an electrical substation in Manipireddipalli, Pakala mandal of Tirupati district. The raid led to the arrest of two suspects, identified as Babu and Gajendra.
According to the authorities, the accused claimed they had manufactured the explosives to ward off wild boars. Pakala police have registered a case and initiated a thorough investigation into the incident. The suspects have been remanded to custody as the probe continues.
