Andhra Pradesh: CM asks Fibernet officials to work unitedly, resolving differences

Vijayawada: The face-off between the authorities of the AP Fibernet has gone to the notice of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

AP Fibernet chairman GV Reddy's allegation that his colleague and Fibernet MD Dinesh Kumar was resorting to treachery, has created a flutter in the IAS circle.

Following suggestion from the CMO, GV Reddy met Chandrababu Naidu and briefed him about the latest developments in Fibernet.

Earlier, Chandrababu Naidu reportedly expressed displeasure over the public criticism of the officials and said that it was not a good precedent in the government. "If there is any problem, they should consult the minister and try to resolve the issue."

"If IAS officers make hate statements like this, others also would follow suit. I had framed the system with a lot of thought. The officials should try to invest their energy in the development of the organization. The officials should be careful not to repeat such acts again. I will speak to the minister. It will be better if you and the MD try to resolve the issue discussing the situation," Naidu told GV Reddy.

He asked Reddy to ensure that work in a team ignoring minor issues and differences between officials.

It is learnt that minister Janardhan Reddy was asked to look into the Fibernet face-off and make the going smooth.

The government has asked both Dinesh Kumar and GV Reddy to submit their arguments with complete evidences.
