Andhra Pradesh: Cops Seize 103 Vehicles in Cordon, Search Operation
Tirupati: In a coordinated effort to curb criminal activities, the Tirupati police conducted a cordon and search operation across several residential areas including Railway Colony, Sundaraiah Nagar, and Mallamgunta, on Sunday. The operation, initiated by SP L. Subbarayudu, focused on tracking down former criminals, rowdy-sheeters, and suspicious individuals.
During the operation, police conducted thorough searches of homes, offered counseling to residents on maintaining good behavior, and raised awareness about laws and crimes. Residents were encouraged to cooperate with the police to ensure peace and security in their communities.
A significant outcome of the operation was the seizure of 103 vehicles lacking proper documentation. In Mallamgunta, the police confiscated one jeep, three cars, four autos, and 40 two-wheelers. An additional 55 undocumented two-wheelers were seized in Railway Colony and Sundaraiah Nagar and moved to the Tirupati East Police Station for further investigation.
